Paleo Apple Pie Cobbler
According to my mom, this recipe is really called “Make You Wanna Slap Ya Mamma Good Apple Pie”. But really, its pretty damn good and has NO added sugars or refined carbs!!!! Magical.

Paleo Apple Pie Cobbler
Ingredients
Crust
- 3/4 cup Almond Flour
- 2 tbsp Applesauce (unsweetened)
- 1 tbsp Honey (or other liquid sweetener)
- 1 tsp Cinnamon or Apple Pie Spice
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Apple Filling
- 2 Diced Apples (I used small honeycrisp apples)
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Tapioca Flour
- 1-2 tbsp Water
Crumble Topping
- 1/2 cup Almond Flour
- 1 tbsp Applesauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
Make Crust First
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper (I used a 8×4 baking dish).
- Combine all crust ingredients and press into baking pan.
- Bake for 8 minutes.
Make Filling while Crust Cooks
- Add apples, honey, and cinnamon to a small pot and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in tapioca flour and water then reduce heat to low, cover pot, and let thicken for a few minutes.
- Remove from heat and leave covered while making crumble topping.
Crumble Topping then Assembly
- Mix all ingredients for the crumble topping.
- Add apples to crust in baking dish.
- Sprinkle crumble topping on top of the apples.
- Return to the oven for 30 minutes.
- Let cool completely then serve with yogurt, ice cream, whipped topping, or whatever else ya want!
